PARENT CEREMONY:

Join us this Friday for an optional Parent Ceremony to see what we’ve been up to at camp! The Parent Ceremony will include an award presented to every camper, a presentation to learn more about the week of camp, and a time to meet staff from the church and hear about upcoming events. Parents are welcome to pick up their campers at 3:15 pm on Friday with the ceremony starting at 3:30 pm. If you are unable to attend, you can pick campers up at the normal time.

THEME:

We use a theme to bring Biblical truths to life in a way that’s relatable to campers. The theme serves as a fun and engaging platform to get kids excited about the biblical teaching for the week. This year’s theme takes place at the circus! Check out the paragraph below to read our theme introduction. πŸ™‚

Welcome to Gilbert Gallant’s Circus of Talent! Our story follows our main characters as they struggle with feelings of insignificance and purposelessness in a world where they don’t belong (or so they think). Driven by this desire for something greater in the world, they all find the invitation to the local summer circus camp led by Gilbert Gallant falling into their laps. Against all of their better judgements, prior commitments, and general reluctances, they all find themselves at camp on the first day of summer.Β

Upon arrival, each of our characters meets the charming and caring Circusmaster, Gilbert Gallant. Together, each of our characters goes on a quest led by Gilbert Gallant to find their purpose and how they can maximize their skills and interests for ultimate meaning and significance. With the Circusmaster’s guidance, can our main characters be empowered and filled with a new sense of identity and self or will they discover that there is no place of belonging and importance for them in the world? Join our circus of misfits, weirdos, and goofballs to find out!

THEME VERSE:
