My girls memorized several scriptures and built deep bonds. They got to work hard. They got to be in Colorado. They had great experiences like sleeping in a truck bed under the starts overlooking Pikes Peak. They didn't even want their phones back and said they felt weird when they did first held them again. They were sad to leave and had an amazing experience! So grateful for Eagle Lake and the counselors who made a lifelong impact on my children.

Designed for returning Eagle Lake Crew Campers who are entering their senior year of high school, the Counselor-in-Training program exists to invest in the next generation of Eagle Lake Staff through leadership opportunities, coaching, and spiritual development. Each week, counselors-in-training are paired with a cabin and have opportunities to disciple campers, lead activities, and be mentored by counselors.

Intentional Spiritual Development
- Participate in our Eagle Lake Staff Bible Study
- TAWG – Time Alone With God – each day
- Each CIT will have the option to meet individually with an Eagle Lake Staff member for deeper spiritual discussion and discipleship
Serving Behind the Scenes
- Assist with running the Boat House
- Participate in our Outdoor Crew
Leadership Development
- Participate in a weekly Leadership Seminar led by CIT counselors
- Investing in campers by leading games and activities
- Opportunities to lead younger Camper Bible Studies alongside trained Eagle Lake Staff
