Colorado Springs Host Homes

Thank you for your interest in hosting Eagle Lake Staff this summer! We wouldn’t be able to minister to thousands of kids each summer if it weren’t for generous people like you.

  • Enjoy having others in their home and are comfortable sharing their lives with college students throughout the entire summer
  • Employment by The Navigators or referred by a Navigators staff member (referrals must pass a background check prior to hosting)
  • Provide “house rules” in alignment with the Navigator Code of Conduct and the Christian faith while recognizing a young person’s need for independence and privacy

  • Provide 4 dinners for staff on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evenings
  • Access to laundry, small shelf space in the kitchen/fridge, parking (street is ok), and internet

What to Expect from Our Staff

  • Staff are between the ages of 18-25, and have all gone through an extensive application, interview, reference and background check to be employed by Eagle Lake
  • They might join your family for certain meals and activities, but also count on them to be self sufficient and independent
  • Staff are gone Monday through Friday during camp hours and will come and go on the weekends

Eagle Lake Staff will…

  • Keep their space orderly and clean
  • Pay for detergent and do their own laundry
  • Provide their own transportation
  • Respect host’s routine for sleeping, meals, and family time
  • Help prepare or clean up after meals host families provide

Eagle Lake Staff will NOT…
