THEME:

We use a theme to bring Biblical truths to life in a way that’s relatable to campers. The theme serves as a fun and engaging platform to get kids excited about the biblical teaching for the week. This year’s theme will take space in space! We are starting on a journey to Planet Sygnomi (Sygnomi means forgiveness in Greek!). Along the way, our friends will learn that sometimes we make mistakes but God has forgiven us and loves us!

THEME VERSE:

Matthew 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”

BIBLE STUDY OVERVIEW:

This summer, campers will study how Jesus forgives us from the guilt of sin! Campers will go back to the beginning (Genesis 1-3) with their counselors and be able to explain how Jesus’ death and resurrection (Matthew 27:45 – 28:10) frees us from the punishment of sin that originated in the Garden of Eden. We will also be exploring the story of Saul on the Road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19) and the Unforgiving Servant (Matthew 18:21-35). With all these stories in mind, campers will then look at their own story of being forgiven by Jesus (Ephesians 2:1-10) and learn how to share it with others who don’t know Him!

LOST AND FOUND POLICY:

You can find Lost and Found near the check-in table each day. Lost and Found will not be kept after camp ends on Friday.
