Don’t just take our word for it:

here are what other Host Partners have said!

“To bring Eagle Lake to our community, we partnered with another church in the area. It had never been done before but together we were able to reach a wider community. Seeing our sanctuary packed with families at the festival made my heart swell. Rural churches have the habit of thinking they’re too small to make a big difference and so having my church leadership see that we can and did make a difference in the lives of these families did a lot for them.” -Rebecca: Elsberry, MO

“The feedback I’ve gotten from [parents] and the personal experience and relationships I have built from Eagle Lake Camp On Location make it easy to give it a 10/10. Others could experience the same and have a week of camp with minimal work load.” -Kelly, CO

Life sized Jenga!

“I’ve been consistently impressed with the incredible quality of this ministry. Campers feel loved and championed. The whole week was great! We’ve had four great years with Eagle Lake and I don’t see any reason to not continue partnering with them in the future! :-)” -Jayme, IA

“Eagle Lake is amazing! It is so impactful in the spiritual lives of our children. I love the firm foundation the Eagle Lake staff are helping our kids to build. Staff did a great job keeping the kids engaged throughout the entire day. Teaching Christ-centered lessons in all they were doing.” -Melissa, WY

“Eagle Lake Camps is the ‘whole package.’ You bring the fun and the worship, and lead kids to Christ!” -Susan: Lee’s Summit, MO

“We have had a great experience with Eagle Lake year after year. It has been one of the best ways we can both reach out and offer our kids a camp experience that have the same goals in mind as we do.” -Anastasia, CO

“We were very pleased with Eagle Lake Camps, the staff, the organizational aspects, the professionalism of the team, the philosophy, and the business practices. Eagle Lake did everything with excellence. And I’m not just saying that because it’s a quick answer. All aspects of camp were given consideration, thoughtfulness, planning, and attention to detail. The campers seemed to love the staff and the activities.” -Mindy, CO

“Eagle Lake allowed the kids to just be kids. They had free time to form relationships and just hnag out with their friends. The staff reaching out to each camper was absolutely the best relationship building I have seen in such a short time.” -Amy: Rolla, MO

What you need to know

Overnight Camps: Our Rez program can accomodate around 250 campers/week. There is not a cap put on each age group; it is on a first come, first served basis. Once we reach 250 for any particular week, the camp is closed and a waiting list will then be started. Our Excursions programs are designed for small groups of campers. Depending on the nature of the program, we average between 8-18 campers per program per week. Our Crew program accomodates approximately 60 campers/session.

Day Camp at Glen Eyrie: Our Day Camp at Glen Eyrie can accomodate up to 60 campers/week.

Eagle Lake On Location: Depending on our location, our On Location programs can accomodate up to 150 campers/week.

Eagle Lake On Location

Our On Location program is specifically designed and geared toward seven to twelve year olds. The high energy activities of camp can be difficult for six-year-olds and younger children to keep up with. Please contact our office if you have any questions about younger children attending our camp.

Eagle Lake is a beautiful property that we would love for you to see prior to registering for camp. Because our property is closed during the non-camp season, it is not possible to visit between September and May. However, once camp begins in June, you are welcome to visit during any opening or closing day (on Sunday afternoons and Friday mornings). You may also visit during Parent’s Day on Wednesday afternoons between 2:30 and 4:00 pm.

Full Time staff members may be contacted through our main number, 1-800-US-EAGLE (873-2453) or by their e-mail address listed on the Leadership page.

Eagle Lake On Location: Our ratios depend on the amount of campers at each location, but is typically around 7 to 1.

There are so many different ways to promote camp! While you know your community and what they would respond best to, here are a couple of ideas we’ve seen work well:

  • Partner with a local school to help spread the word!
  • Be strategic with where you promote! Put posters up in high traffic areas or consider boosting advertisement on Facebook.
  • Set up a creative display in your church foyer with information about camp!
