Adventure Experiences 5 is a comprehensive program for high school students.

This 12-night program provides all of the activities offered in Adventure Experiences 4-with greater depth and breadth-while simultaneously giving campers the opportunity to both backpack in Colorado’s amazing National Forests and spend a day white-water rafting on the Arkansas river. This is our premier program for our high school adventurers looking to be equipped and enriched through a range of thrilling activities and intentional, relevant Bible Study. Campers who participate in Adventure Experiences 5 will be challenged, encouraged and equipped to live out the godly character and integrity of their faith in their high school environment, while being immersed in diverse and memorable Excursion activities. This program has it all, and offers the highest quality of opportunities to interact with other high school aged peers.

This camp uses National Forest Land for part of the programming.

It is our desire that no child miss out on a camp experience because of financial circumstances. Financial aid, in the form of a partial assistance scholarship, is available to those in need. Visit our Campership page to apply.

FAQs

What you need to know

Overnight Camps
If a camper is on prescription medication, the medication is required to be checked in with the nurse at registration. All medications, including vitamins, must be in the original container or will not be accepted. All medication, including vitamins, must be listed on the Eagle Lake physical form by the prescribing doctor. We do not allow any camper to keep medications on them except specifically requested by the physician.

Our medical staff distributes all medication at the time it needs to be taken by the camper. Please do not have campers bring over-the-counter medication to camp, as our camp infirmary is sufficiently stocked to meet the general needs of headaches, coughs and scrapes. If you have any questions about a specific medical situation, please call the camp office.

If a camper is on one of our Excursions, he or she will need to check any medication in with the nurse, who will then give the medication to the counselor to administer at the appropriate time.

Rental equipment for our Excursion Camps includes everything from Crazy Creek chairs to bikes, backpacks, and sleeping bags. In fact, the only equipment we don’t have available is clothing and boots! Rental items are available on a first come, first served basis. We will provide other necessary equipment once the camper is on the trail – cooking utensils, stoves, etc. You can view rental prices below and contact our camp office for more specific rental information.

Rental Prices:
Crazy Creek chair – $8.00
Sleeping bag – $20.00
Thermarest pad – $7..00
Climbing shoes – $5.00
Rain jacket – $5.00
Backpack – $25.00

Eagle Lake is located on Rampart Range Road past Woodland Park. Please see the Directions page for customized driving directions to camp. Please note that the last 12 miles of Rampart are unpaved and somewhat rough.

Due to the frequent changes and updates that children experience within a year’s time we require parents to fill out a new health form every year. The doctor’s physical may be accepted if it is within 12 months of camp attendance. Please bring a copy of the current health form with you on the day of registration; all documents from prior years go into archive following the summer months, and are irretrievable.

EARLY REGISTRATION If you register before January 15, 2017 you will receive a $50 discount off the camp of your choice (only applies to 5 or 12-night programs). REFERRAL DISCOUNT We also offer a Referral Program discount which provides an opportunity for you to earn discounts (up to a free week of camp) while helping us recruit new campers. Our referral program is only eligible for our Overnight Camps, and provides a $50 discount for each new camper you refer. Please see our referral page for more information.

For discounts on our Day Camp On Location programs please contact the church or organization hosting that week of Day Camp.

Overnight and Day Camp Programs: Financial aid, in the form of a partial assistance scholarship, is available to those in need. Financial assistance is approved by application only. Visit our Campership page to apply.

To qualify for financial aid, camper must have an active Eagle Lake registration secured with $50 deposit (while the deposit is typically non-refundable, in the case that a registration must be cancelled due to insufficient financial assistance, the deposit will be refunded).

Crew reminded me of who I serve and why I serve Him. I've learned so much about myself and God this summer. I can honestly say that this has been the best experience of my life! —Hallie, CO
