Explore what it means to walk with Christ while exploring a new Excursion adventure each day!

Based in cabins at Eagle Lake Camp, campers will spend their days exploring activities across our property in Pike National Forest during the daytime. Rock-climbing, mountain-biking, lake kayaking, hiking, traversing our low and high ropes courses, and participating in a great variety of group games and activities keep our campers exhilarated and engaged in this beautiful environment. Spiritually, campers explore what it means to have quiet times in the beauty of God’s Creation. Our counselors will also facilitate the exploration of God’s Word through Bible Studies and seek out one-on-one interaction with each camper.

Campers who participate in Adventure Experiences 1 will discover God and His Word in new ways as they interact with Him in His Creation while participating in an abundance of fun-filled and inspiring activities.

This camp uses National Forest Land for part of the programming.

It is our desire that no child miss out on a camp experience because of financial circumstances. Financial aid, in the form of a partial assistance scholarship, is available to those in need. Visit our Campership page to apply.

FAQs

What you need to know

Overnight Camps
If a camper is on prescription medication, the medication is required to be checked in with the nurse at registration. All medications, including vitamins, must be in the original container or will not be accepted. All medication, including vitamins, must be listed on the Eagle Lake physical form by the prescribing doctor. We do not allow any camper to keep medications on them except specifically requested by the physician.

Our medical staff distributes all medication at the time it needs to be taken by the camper. Please do not have campers bring over-the-counter medication to camp, as our camp infirmary is sufficiently stocked to meet the general needs of headaches, coughs and scrapes. If you have any questions about a specific medical situation, please call the camp office.

If a camper is on one of our Excursions, he or she will need to check any medication in with the nurse, who will then give the medication to the counselor to administer at the appropriate time.

Rental equipment for our Excursion Camps includes everything from Crazy Creek chairs to bikes, backpacks, and sleeping bags. In fact, the only equipment we don’t have available is clothing and boots! Rental items are available on a first come, first served basis. We will provide other necessary equipment once the camper is on the trail – cooking utensils, stoves, etc. You can view rental prices below and contact our camp office for more specific rental information.

Rental Prices:
Crazy Creek chair – $8.00
Sleeping bag – $20.00
Thermarest pad – $7..00
Climbing shoes – $5.00
Rain jacket – $5.00
Backpack – $25.00

Lots of campers makes for lots of lost and found. While we do our best to ensure each camper returns home with all their belongings, there is no way we can guarantee we’ll find them all. While not responsible for lost items, Eagle Lake does try to connect lost items with their owners. Click here to submit a lost and found request. If items are not claimed within two weeks of the camp session, they are donated to the local Goodwill.

EARLY REGISTRATION If you register before January 15, 2017 you will receive a $50 discount off the camp of your choice (only applies to 5 or 12-night programs). REFERRAL DISCOUNT We also offer a Referral Program discount which provides an opportunity for you to earn discounts (up to a free week of camp) while helping us recruit new campers. Our referral program is only eligible for our Overnight Camps, and provides a $50 discount for each new camper you refer. Please see our referral page for more information.

For discounts on our Day Camp On Location programs please contact the church or organization hosting that week of Day Camp.

Overnight and Day Camp Programs: Financial aid, in the form of a partial assistance scholarship, is available to those in need. Financial assistance is approved by application only. Visit our Campership page to apply.

To qualify for financial aid, camper must have an active Eagle Lake registration secured with $50 deposit (while the deposit is typically non-refundable, in the case that a registration must be cancelled due to insufficient financial assistance, the deposit will be refunded).

Campers may make a request for bunkmate(s) when they register for an overnight camp. Eagle Lake will strive to accommodate these requests but cannot guarantee them due to limited housing space and age grouping considerations. These assignments are made one week prior to camp arrival. Please be sure to submit a roommate request online from your account under Manage Registrations.

Our daughter couldn't believe the challenges that were thrown at her during the two week camp. She smiles when she tells us stories about all the adventures. Thank you for challenging our daughter! We've noticed a positive change in her personality, mood and outlook on life. —Caroline, CO
