About
Welcome to our Excursions Program! Excursions makes more room for our older campers while still maintaining the excellent, rigorous programming parents and campers alike have known and loved for years.
We offer a scaffolded program experience, with a basecamp-style approach that allows for a more laid back introduction to outdoor adventures for younger campers, and an expedition-style approach for our older campers who are ready for a more intensive program. Activities include rock climbing, mountain biking, lake kayaking, hiking or backpacking, white water rafting, our premier high ropes course, and more!
We also offer our two premier specialty programs: Rocky Mountain Challenge (RMC), a two-week extreme challenge camp, and Dad/Teen Trek, a unique chance for dads to build relationships with their teens while adventuring together.
Our Excursions programs start at age 12. This provides many more spots for older campers who are wanting to attend camp but have aged out of our REZ(ident) programs! We’ve made the Excursions programs’ age ranges fluid, so campers are easily able to attend the program that fits their skill level while still enjoying camp alongside campers similar in age.
