FAQs

What you need to know

Due to the frequent changes and updates that children experience within a year’s time we require parents to fill out a new health form every year. The doctor’s physical may be accepted if it is within 12 months of camp attendance. Please upload a copy of the current health form to your camper’s registration account; all documents from prior years go into archive following the summer months, and are irretrievable.

Eagle Lake Day Camp at Glen Eyrie
Our Day Camp program is specifically designed and geared toward seven to twelve year olds. The high energy activities of camp can be difficult for six-year-olds and younger children to keep up with. Please contact our office if you have any questions about younger children attending our camp.

EARLY REGISTRATION If you register before January 31, 2023 you will receive a $50 discount off the camp of your choice (only applies to 5 or 12-night programs).

REFERRAL DISCOUNT We also offer a Referral Program discount which provides an opportunity for you to earn discounts (up to a free week of camp) while helping us recruit new campers. Our referral program is only eligible for our Overnight Camps and Day Camp On Location. Our Overnight Camps referral discount provides a $50 discount for each new camper you refer, and our Day Camp On Location referral discount provides a $25 discount for each new camper you refer. Please see our referral page for more information.

Overnight and Day Camp Programs: Financial aid, in the form of a partial assistance scholarship, is available to those in need. Financial assistance is approved by application only. Visit our Campership page to apply.

To qualify for financial aid, your camper must have an active Eagle Lake registration secured with a $50 deposit (while the deposit is typically non-refundable, in the case that a registration must be cancelled due to insufficient financial assistance, the deposit will be refunded).

Eagle Lake Day Camp at Glen Eyrie:
Campers are responsible to bring their own sack lunch each day to camp. Eagle Lake has a camp store where snacks can be purchased and eaten during free time but feel free to pack some extra snacks in their lunch as well.

Eagle Lake Day Camp at Glen Eyrie
If a camper is on prescription medication, the medication is required to be checked in with Eagle Lake staff at registration. All medications, including vitamins, must be in the original container or will not be accepted. All medication, including vitamins, must be listed on the Eagle Lake physical form by the prescribing doctor. We do not allow any camper to keep medications on them except specifically requested by the physician.

Our medical staff distributes all medication at the time it needs to be taken by the camper. Please do not have campers bring over-the-counter medication to camp, as we are sufficiently stocked to meet the general needs of headaches, coughs and scrapes. If you have any questions about a specific medical situation, please call the camp office.

If needed, medications can be picked up at the end of each day and checked in each morning.

Day Camp at Glen Eyrie: Check-in for Day Camp is on the opening Monday of camp. Please arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 am on opening day to complete the registration process and make sure there are no outstanding forms or balances on your account. Pick-up is at 4:00 pm every day. (If your camper is signed up for Before and After Care, drop-off is between 7:00-9:00 am, and pick-up is from 4:00-6:00 pm.)
