How can I become a counselor for Eagle Lake Camp?

How do I register and pay for camp?
There are 4 ways to register for Eagle Lake camp. Online, by phone, by mail, and by fax. To register online, click the "
Login" button on the homepage to set up or log on to your account. After completing your online registration, your information will be instantly submitted to Eagle Lake. After submitting your registration online, you can return to
www.eaglelakecamps.com and access your registration information at any time. You will have 24-hour access to your camper's account where you can complete paperwork, set up a payment plan, pay your balance, and add money to your camper's store account.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is needed to register and reserve a place for each camper and each session. The remaining balance is then due one month prior to the scheduled camp week. If registering within one month of camp, the full amount (deposit and balance) is due at the time of registration. We accept personal checks or money orders (made payable to "The Navigators"), Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card.
What is Eagle Lake's cancellation and refund policy?
CANCELLATIONS
Eagle Lake reserves the right to cancel any camp before the date of departure. If cancellation should occur, campers can receive a complete refund (including deposit) or transfer to another camp.
REFUNDS
No refund will be made for dismissals due to disciplinary action, late arrival, or early departure. Refunds of the full tuition, minus the $100 deposit, may be given if a request is legitimate and is made in writing more than one month prior to the scheduled camp week. Deposits are non-refundable.
Where can I find out about camp closures and changes?
Our website is updated regularly with a list of all of the camps available for registration. Camps that are closed are indicated with a closed comment next to the specific dates. You may contact the Eagle Lake offices to request a spot on the waiting list for a closed camp.
Do you offer discounts on camp rates?
EARLY REGISTRATION
If you register before January 11, 2012 you will receive a $50 discount off the camp of your choice (does not apply to Crew).
REFERAL DISCOUNT
We also offer a Referral Program discount which provides an opportunity for you to earn discounts (up to a free week of camp) while helping us recruit new campers. Here’s how it works:

3. Submit your Referal Form to ELC after your friends have registered (email to registrar.el@navigators.org or mail to
PO Box 6819, Colorado Springs, CO 80934)
3. Receive your discount!
The discount details are as follows:
• 2-4 friends registered = $100.00 discount
• 5-7 friends registered = $200.00 discount
• 8-9 friends registered = $300.00 discount
• 10 friends registered = FREE one-week camp session
Do you offer financial aid for campers?
Eagle Lake offers scholarships for campers who need additional help with paying for camp. Eagle Lake believes that no camper should be turned away because of finances. Eagle Lake's Campership Fund, made possible through the generosity of Eagle Lake friends and supporters, is available to any family with financial need.

Financial assistance is approved by application only and is available only to those campers already registered (and submitted $100 deposit) for an Eagle Lake program. Please apply early, as funds are limited. Any financial aid awarded will be applied to the remaining balance of camp fees. Note: Financial aid priority is given to those campers able to attend weeks 1 and 2. You will receive an email as soon as your application has been reviewed, with the amount your camper(s) have been awarded, as well as any remaining balance.
Do you offer discounts and programs for groups?
Eagle Lake's programs can be customized and discounted to meet the needs of groups both large (300) and small (as few as 20). Most Eagle Lake Camps are available for contract groups to charter for one or two weeks. Group discounts are negotiated accordingly. Please see our

What is the maximum capacity for your camps?
ON-SITE CAMPS
We can accommodate 250 campers per session in our
Resident Camps. There is not a cap put on each age group; it is on a first come, first served basis. Once we reach 250 for any particular week, the camp is closed and a waiting list will then be started. Our
Horse Camps are limited to 14 campers per session.
